Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), also referred to as planned or scheduled maintenance is essentially a scheduled maintenance routine, that sets out to ensure machinery, services and equipment are all maintained at regular intervals. This helps to minimise partial or complete failure of the items that need to be serviced, and helps minimise business disruption and costly repair bills.
